I think I’ve randomly stumbled onto a super legit, actual, do-it-yourself biohack. I intend to add posts about why I started running with a weight vest, the kind of supplements I’m taking, what biohacking is, the science behind the idea, and the results I’m getting as I continue this experiment.

The purpose of this site is to blog my experience, research, and results as I try this.

Now, what I’m doing looks a little silly, but as long as I don’t experience any joint issues (and currently I’m not, but I’m being careful though) I think I’ve found a holy grail. A workout that delivers, is transformative in how I feel on a daily basis, is short and relaxing enough to be maintainable, if coupled with the right supplements and techniques. I’m not talking about extreme fasts, crazy mental stuff, injecting myself with crazy things, or any of the extreme things that you might hear about some “biohackers” doing. I’m talking abut do-it-yourself stuff, not really removed from normal fitness, just a bit more experimental, a bit more rigorous on the supplements eating strategy, and and a bit more heavy on the data and tracking.

Nope, aside from looking a little odd, it’s delivering the results that workouts are supposed to. I’m not gonna win a body building contest, or become a professional runner. But I will have a deep reservoir of energy available on tap throughout my days. Fatigue will become a stranger. I think a person under 40 today might have a good chance at living to 120. Might as well feel good as we get there, and I think this can help me.

So this is currently all I’ve got to say about this site. I’m gonna track data. I’m gonna try supplements. I’m gonna record results, with graphs and data. I’ve got the watch for the heartbeat and even sleep data. I’ve got the scale for my body fat percentage.

I’m gonna update this and other pages as I go. Sure it’s a little basic for now, but check back and see how I’m doing!
